4. What does an AC service call cost?
Residential service call rates:
- $135 during regular business hours
- $170 after hours
- $270 Sundays and holidays
5. Repair or replace?
If the repair is straightforward and the system is otherwise solid, we recommend repair. If it’s old, inefficient, or facing a major failure, we’ll explain options honestly — including a free estimate on a new system.
If you choose to replace your AC unit instead of repair, we will refund your service call charge as a credit on your replacement service!
6. Can maintenance prevent AC breakdowns?
Yes! Our Preferred Service Agreement includes cooling tune-ups that catch weak capacitors, dirty coils, and airflow issues before a heatwave takes the system down.
7. Is there a warranty on repair work?
Yes. If there’s still an issue after we leave, call us. For 30 days after your service call, we’ll return at no charge to check the continuing problem.
8. What if I only want my air conditioner cleaned?

9. Why is my AC blowing warm air?
The most common causes are:
- Thermostat set wrong: it's set to "heat" or "fan on" instead of "cool" and "auto," or the batteries are dead.
- Dirty air filter: a clogged filter chokes airflow and can freeze the coil.
- Tripped breaker or outdoor unit off: the inside fan runs, but the outdoor condenser isn't.
- Dirty outdoor coil: dirt, grass, or cottonwood blocks the unit from releasing heat.
- Low refrigerant: this almost always means a leak, which needs to be found and repaired, not just topped off.
- Failed capacitor or contactor: these are common summer failures that stop the outdoor fan or compressor.
- Compressor problem: less common, but it's the reason to get a diagnosis before spending money.
What to check first: confirm the thermostat is on Cool, replace a dirty filter, and make sure the outdoor unit's breaker hasn't tripped. If it's still blowing warm air, or the outdoor unit is humming but the fan isn't spinning, turn the system off and call (419) 243-3005.
